I love my boyfriend, but i'm too scared to tell him. He tells me he likes me, and vise-versa, and he's told me he loves me two or three times, but each time he's said it he was drunk. Once was after this party when we went to bed, right b4 we fell asleep he told me he loved me. I didn't say anything back cuz well, he was drunk. He dosen't seem to recall saying it (not that i've asked him) but he hasn't mentioned it at all, or said it while he was sober. Does the truth come out when hes drunk? or is it just cuz he was drunk? Should I wait and not scare him away?

If you love him then tell him you love him. He's probably scared because the times he did tell you it wasn't said back. Just tell him. Lifes to short. Enjoy it.

People think that the truth comes out when someone is drunk and it does to an extent* but usually it is an exaggerated truth that no one should really pay any mind to or take seriously. If you love him, why hold it back? If he gets scared off because of how you feel, then obviously he wasn't worth your time or effort. You can't expect us or yourself to play mind reader and you do know one thing for certain and that is how you feel and by being honest and telling him that you love him... you'll finally know once and for all if he feels the same for you and answer this question for yourself.
Good luck and I know it can be hard to be the first to really say it but being open and sometimes downright vulnerable to someone is part of being in love:)

He's hooked.
All you have to do is not pull so hard that the line breaks. If you want him, he's yours. Just give him time enough to realize it on his own. Sounds to me like he is a pretty lucky guy.
BTW: Alcohol is a central nervous system depressant. As such it tends to reduce inhibitions, that is of course prior to it rendering us unconscious. We tend to say more and be more honest when drunk. Witness Mel Gibson's little tirade. I am speaking in general terms here. A drunk can get mean, quiet, amorous, obnoxious or any of a number of other things. But normally your guy is typical.

every one is different. he could be saying the truth when he is drunk but he might be only saying it because he is drunk. you have to just come straight out and say it or else you might not ever know.

I don't know about him but most people I do know hardly ever tell the truth when drunk! Not always lies but exaggerations and bragging!
