The man I am with seems to be overly too excited to see me at times.
I’m not sure if it’s the fact the women who look like I do normally don’t date guys like him.
However I do like him for who he is, after being hurt from ‘hot guys’ it got old. I was burned in the worst possible way.
So I wonder if it’s the fact that I’m the ‘foxiest’ thing he’s dated or if he’s worried that someone like him wouldn’t date someone who looks like I do.
I also worry that he will get paranoid that someone might steal my attention as well. He wants to spend free time with me, which is okay, however I am independent. I enjoy our time, but I worry that he’s scared to lose me. It’s the beginning of our relationship and unlike my past loves we have opposite rolls, where I am the independent and he seems to be dependent on me.

I don’t think he’s in-love with me because of the time frame. He was overly happy I cooked for him, he asked why he was being treated so well?

OK, Look men can sometimes get over excited...Kinda like you dog that hasn't seen ya and you finally get home. What wrong with being over excited??? I would think that someone would like the attention. Do you like him? If he is treating you like a princess, you might otta try treating him like a prince. Looks can't be everything, because lets face it, good looks don't stay with a person forever. But then again, what do I know? I'm just a simple man with simple solutions.

He may very well be insecure or genuinely sincere when he sees you. Unfortuantely there is a huge difference in being in love and being obsessed. Love doesn't happen overnight, it takes time and people really need to understand that before they say it. If you have to constantly reassure him, how much will it take before he gets the message and are you willing to put that much into your relationship? Being obsessed has a lot to do with having or obtaining something or someone we can't have, clearly this guy is with you and should realize that. It really comes down to you and if you see this as being a healthy relationship now and down the road? I hope you both find some clarity in this situation.

Whoa, you need to get over yourself and quick hun...Perhaps you are just used to dating guys that weren't that into you or that didn't treat you as good as they could have. I mean you said that you have been hurt and burned in the worst way possible so maybe its just that YOU aren't used to a guy who really does care about you for you. I mean he doesn't sound obsessive or that he feels "unworthy" of your affection but rather it appears to me that he just really cares. I mean you see it time after time where a girl either is with someone who treats them badly who either says they want a good guy who will love them for them by caring and respecting them and then in the next breath they ditch the good guy that couldve given them that to go back into the cycle of going after the guy that doesnt really give completely to the relationship (or to the girl) and/or is just a complete asshole and they just complain again how they wish their guy was good or more loving and respectful of them. Sometimes people can come off as too strong and perhaps you just need to talk to him about it but I definitely wouldn't write this guy off just yet because he seems like he could be one of the good ones that you'll most likely regret ever letting go of if you do. Good luck and just be honest with him, Im sure he will understand and back off a lil for your sake and the sake of the relationship.:)

first of all: in case you're under 18 years previous, I kinda doubt which you somewhat love every person. in case you somewhat think of you do, it truly is going to in all risk in basic terms finally end up in heartache. you will get knocked up, he will pass away you, and so on. Or y'all will date, then once you graduate you will wreck up and understand how corny and meaningless the full concern truly develop into. be careful with the observe "love." do no longer throw it around like it would not recommend something.
