Self-image problem..?

Objectively, I'm a good lookin guy. Girls at school like me and people mostly think that a look great.

But I have a problem. My brother took picture of me on his digital camera. When I saw myself, I was all like: "I look terrible, that CAN'T BE ME". my brother said that I look normal, fine, but I just can't accept my appeareance. I hate myself. I can't stand my look or my voice. I hate myself.

Many people suffer from lack of body image. Its completely natural especially if you are in your teens... but the good thing is that there are things you can do to boost your confidence... NUMBER ONE: Work out... Go to the gym, excersize at home... DO SOMETHING. Many people report that they feel so much better and have MORE confidence when they work out on a regular basis, and you have to at least give it a month of working out before you see results too. NUMBER TWO: Focus on school, 80% of americans that have a COLLEGE diploma not only make more money but report being happier over all than those americans who DO NOT have a college degree... So Get an education, and work on your appearance. These two things alone will make anyone feel better. Give it a month and Ill bet your self confidence goes WAY up. Good luck

Appearance is not the most important thing. It is only superficial. Ability and knowledge are more important. Relation with God is the most important.

In the Beginning God created heavens and earth.
God gives you air to breathe and sunshine to enjoy.
God gives you water to drink and food to eat.
God gives you a wonderful body and sound mind, to live.
God loves you, and you are precious to Him.
Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation.
Jesus’ love is boundless and everlasting.
We have the hope of Heaven through Jesus.

Remember that you are your biggest critic. We can be so hard on ourselves sometimes and see flaws that aren't even obvious or noticeable to others. Look for the qualities in yourself that you are happy with and try to be positive about your entire self-image. Teenage years are very difficult for almost everyone, so I can guarantee that you are not the only one at school wishing that you looked like someone else.....chances are, someone at school wishes that they were more like you! :)

why don't you go with what people say about you. They would be the best judge for now you cannot judge your looks as you have a distorted image of yourself and it's all in your head.

chill out. you are just a teen and your voice is supposed to be horrible. focus onh some good things because you have somehitng besides your looks. and try to focus on other things. if you really were hideous, do you think girls at your school would think you are hot.
