No, you ask one of them "If I were to ask the other warden which way leads to freedom, which door would he say?" Whichever door he indicates, you take the other one. Work it through, it def works every time!

well that is the question, you just don't have a question mark. The only thing you missed out was that he can't distinguish between the two guards.
the answer is, he goes up to one of the guards and says
"What would the other guard say if I asked him which door leads to death?"
Whichever door the guard points to is the door that leads to freedom.

ask either one what the other would say if asked what is the door that leads to freedom and they will say right/left you just take the opposite i think thats it as ive tried to work it out both ways so i thik that works if not sorry

Right you ask one of the guards...
"If I asked the other Guard which door led to safety, what would he say?"
Whichever door he says, you take the other one!
If you ask the "Truth" guard, he will say the "Death" Door
If you ask the "Lie" guard, he will also say the "Death" Door because he's lying! Complicated, but it works!
