Have you seen the saying "It is better to DO small deeds well than to PLAN big deeds?

yes, and it is a good tool for perfectionists. I am a perfectionist... and when it comes to cleaning or starting a project, i actually have to take it one little step at a time - or i look at the big picture and easily give up and get frustrated.

yes as it is very similar to " I'd rather see a good sermon than hear one. " which was one of dad's favorites
