Because your wife is obviously a caring woman and concerned about you having to carry a weighty wallet around. Therefore she lightens the load by taking money out of it and making it easier for you to carry - what a thoughtful woman :-)

cos when ur wife comes home the fairies follow her in ,,,see u struggling and help u hold it up,,they take some of the money out to give to the garden nomes to look after for when you are old an need to pay for youre care,,,,,,see so its all in a good cause,haha.but u int alone the faries take care of my husbands wallet too,,,they take it to tescos and spend it on the needy and the poor,,,like the grandchildren and the pets and ofcause me too hehe.

because when you're married there is no "my" money and "your" money. She probably needed some cash for something. Why don't you talk to your wife about it instead of trying to accumulate a pity party on Yahoo Answers. You married her. If she's a leech then that's your issue.
