I would think "disgusting" and I would immediately wash my hands. I would hate to actually try to discover what the source of the nastyness was.

If it was urine yes its nasty but it cannot reallt harm you. The minute it leaves the body it drops dramatically intemperature and it cannot harbor any bacteria. It would have to sit there a really long time and be in contact with another form of bacteria before it would generate into anything that can harm you. Nonetheless its still nasty. I actually had something similiar happen to me at a Kmart. I picked up this thermos in the fishing section and tipped it over to look inside and this substance spilled out. We I bet you can guess hwat was in it. I was so disgusted that someone would actually take the time to pee in something like that and then leave it on the shelf for anyone even a child to pick up.

how exactly would somebody get urine onto a vending machine flap or a table or chair in a public place? that's just too funny....

my first thought is that maybe somebody spilled something, and i wipe my hand on my pants and forget about it. but then again, i'm not a complete wimp....

i doubt very much that getting urine on your clothes would cause infection since bacteria can't survive in clothes for very long (like a couple hours at most and then they die).... unless you're pouring urine onto an open wound or drinking it i think you'll be okay.

It could also be from a cough, sneeze- or some kid drooled on it- wash you hand! Yuck-if it touched soaked through the clothes to your skin I would wash the skin- and wash the clothes too- if it contains an airborn germ you may possibly catch it - if the skin intergrity is impaired it may enter the body that way-Urine is usually sterile upon leaving the body- it would take a while for it to grow any bugs-D

I would't like it much, but then I would remind myself that after all i am a human living on the earth, and these things do happen. It's just too silly to freak out about. You know, people who are hysteric about cleaness do get sick more often, since their bodies are not used to different bacteries.
Still, I would take a look at my hand and sniff it....if it was something discusting then I would off course run to the nearest bathroom.
The major difference is if it would be juice or something, or a body liquid. A body liquid wouldn't be nice.

Anything that is available for public use is a melting pot and a breeding ground for possible diseases or infection ,,,,, I consider the elevator button in any place including a hospital the dirtiest inch in the building ,,,, that's why I use the car key to press the buttons instead of my finger ,,,, If you are ever visiting some one in the hospital and you are watching for it ,,,,, you will notice that all medical staff will use a dispenser ,,,, mounted on the wall for convenience,,,,,, containing a waterless disinfectant when they enter a patients room or as they leave it ,,,,, This same cleanser is available for purchase in most grocery stores and all drug stores along with damp disinfectant towellets,,,,,, Another breeding ground is the public rest rooms ,,,,I see that alot of people answering your question say they would go to a rest room to wash their hands,,,,But have you ever thought about how many people us the door knob or handle to this room ? ,,,,,, It's every one who uses the facility ,,,,, Ever consider how many people ,,,, including yourself maybe,,,, that don't bother to wash their hands after use and then use that same door knob or handle to leave the room ? ,,,,,, And even those that bother to wash their hands will use the paper towel to dry their hands and throw it away but ,,, still ,, they use that same door knob to leave the place so most likely washing their hands could be a waste of time ,,,,,,Use the paper towel to turn off water faucets that aren't designed to shut themselves off and instead of throwing that paper towel away after use ,,,,, put it to one other use ,,,,, use it to open the door first and then throw it away ,,,,Just remember that the last thing you touch in a public rest room is that towel ,,,, Think about computer key pads or button operated gas pumps at filling stations ,,,, no matter where they are ,,,, You have to develop safe habbits when you are out in public ,,,, Alot of people don't give it a second thought ,,, You should train yourself to start looking for red flags ,,,,,, Anything available for your use is also available for use by others ,,,,, Those are the red flag areas ,,,,,, Think about it and train yourself to look for these places ,,,,,,, It's very important that people make their children aware of these things too ,,,,, You could make a game of it and have them looking for the red flags too ,,,, Children are probably more likely to pick something up because they are always putting their fingers to their mouth or face for some one reason or another ,,,,,Purchase this disinfectant and keep it on your person and us it often ,,,, I could go on and on about this subject but it's not necessary if you've considered what I've already said ,,,,,,, So,,,,, what about that wet button or surface???? Get out a towellet and disinfectant and use it imediately and thoroughly including under the finger nails ,,,,, Yoda told you this ,,,,,,,

After freaking out, I would go to the nearest restroom to wash my hands thoroughly. If whatever I touched was in an office or store, I would tell management so they could clean it.

Change the record pet, your obsession with urine, semen and male toilets is waaaaay unhealthy! And your multiple questions are a bit boring.
Research? Huh!! More like mental illness.

I'd wonder where I could wash my hands. I dont know if you can catch anything from infected urine unless it's ingested but it's certainly not healthy/hygenic

i would want to find a bathroom and wash my hands immediately! if i couldn't find one i would go buy some wet wipes!
i dint think u would defiantly get an infection from touching it but i certainly wouldn't want to take the risk!
