No. There are no gods, so there is nobody to pray to. Praying is just talking to the air.

Even if I did believe in a god, I wouldn't pray. Generally, gods are defined as beings who created the whole universe and presumably know much more about it than I do. I really doubt if I could talk a god into changing his "perfect plan" if I wanted to, even if I got dozens of people in Yahoo Answers to pray for me, too. I really don't think if such a god misses the prayer of one person, that it would hear the prayers better if more people repeated it.

And studies have shown that prayer just doesn't work. There was a blind study done on heart patients, some of whom were prayed for and some who weren't. There was no real difference in survival rate.

Prayer is something that people do to make themselves think they're doing something, but without actually having to lift a finger. One man with a shovel can do more good than a million people praying.

I try to pray throughout the day. I mostly am praying how thankful I am to be here on this earth and the Eternal Life to come. Blessings to you.

I pray every day, several times a day. I've raised my kids to pray too. They are 6, 4, and 1 years old. God bless!

Yes,

Sometimes formal prayers Our Father, Rosary, ect.

Sometimes just a very informal.

I think that is because of being a Protestant and switching to Catholicism that I like to do both!

at least a hour a day.

Peace!

Everyday. Prayer is your connection to God. He wants a relationship with you. He loves you and is your heavenly Father.
Keep it simple and just start out talking to him like you would your best friend. Remember, he loves you unconditionally and he is not judgmental. You are you and he wants to make your life the best it can be. How cool is that??? You can be yourself and he will listen :-)

I do. Daily, I hope - although sometimes I forget, and for myself and for others - for the world and for local stuff.

I don't use prayer books, just say what I want God to know about me. Most of the time, I pray silently, but sometimes, it is audible to other humans.

Yup, I pray a lot. I meditate every morning and pray through out the day. Some days more than other days. : )

Of course I pray, every day and night. Even if it's a "thank you for waking up in the morning"
