It's the green wire with yellow stripe that should be hot all the time and goes to fuse 1. The fuse is good, but the wire's not hot. I need a hot wire for memory on my CD PLayer.

well you might need to loosen a few bolts or a centrally mounted one holding the box to a bracket. Then with what slack in the cables you have remove the multiplugs form the rear of the box assembly. If the fuse is ok and where the fuse is located both the metal contacts can be touched, make sure they are both in correctly and you can see both edges where the blade fuse wil sit. If they are not there the chances are the fuse has been replaced and the prongs have been pushed back taking the cable with it. If you find the wire is intact and not hot, try taking a small spur off the back of say the live feed to the fusebox and inserting a small fuse to the circuit to bring back in a hot wire to the fuse panel. this should remedy the loss of memory problems. there should be a bolt right in the middle of the fuse box to unscrew and it should come right out
