They say they love Jesus, therefore it's natural that you'd get upset if somebody insults a loved one. If somebody started insulting your mother because they have a right to say what they want to, I'm not sure how you would take it. Obviously, if she's an evil old witch who abuses you then you probably wouldn't mind. But, if she's a proper mother, who treats you like a mother should, then there is no way that you wouldn't get upset about it. If you claim it wouldn't bother you then you're either lying or your dead inside.

You have the right to say anything you want. Christians are offended because we have become "joint-heirs" with Christ. You are therefore insuting our brother. Perhaps you prefer people not to insult your borther. Saul (who later became Paul the apostle) said a lot of bad things about Jesus. Perhaps you will one day change your opinion --- just as he did. because most people love Him more than anything, if we said something bad about the love of your life you'd get worked up over it. you do have a right to say what you want but you are being ignorant implying that others do not have that right also

Mostly because non-Christians get worked up whenever someone says something GOOD about Jesus.
Who is a personal hero of yours? How would you react if someone called him/her a blithering idiot with no other proof to back up that claim than the shield of the First Amendment? I'd wager that YOU'D feel rather perturbed as well.

You have a right to do anything as you please--so long as it hurts no one else. To say things bad of Jesus Christ is the same as blaspheming His name. That is why Christians take umbrage over the words you post.
If you enjoy saying things that hurt other people what does that say of your character?

Same reason you get so worked up when you feel that some one is violating & disrespecting you & yours!......simple as that!.....ps. what, are you into double standards!......I suggest you go to a site that believes the same as you where you can display your attitudes, fiflthy words & opinions about Jesus to each other!....you've logged onto a religious/spiritual forum who "believes, honor, love, & serve Christ" whether you do it or not!.......ummm, unless you want to start trouble and stir up strife and be insulting like most of you heathens do on this site!........fair enough!......

Because they are brainwashed into believing that is what their life is about. And i believe there was a man named jesus. Though i am non-christian. I also believe there was moses, noah, etc... It becomes radical when you start telling other people how to live in jesus' name. And it is radical when people rant negative about jesus too. And that is why they get mad and bent out of shape lol
And as for the posts under me.. i do not think your question hurt anyone. And if it did, they need to grow up a bit and quit being so sensitive.
Keep in mind, you said nothing bad about jesus in this question, though most, if not all of your responses will be mean from christians lol
