Put it this way. In the context of parents bearing a child. Just like your parents, by the time you were born, you were dependent on them and you try follow what they tell you as you learn the ways of life. There are times you gladly succumb to their wishes and there are times you become a rebel. Whatever it is that you enjoyed or did not enjoy with them you keep it your mind until you think you can be alone and decide to leave them.
No matter how they affected your life, they still are part of what you do as long as you can remember them even if they were gone.
God is like that, He took personal care of humans when they were still in their infancies as evolving humans (a reason why some of our elders have the ability to communicate with HIM), now that He let most of all our decisions and actions in our hands, we still keep remembering His words.That is how He lives forever in the minds of man. There are times in our lives that we make decisions on our own accord and we treat our children differently from the past because we think it is the new right thing and yet there are still those that lives in the memory of their parents as they apply the same treatment to their children because they thought that was the right thing. Since you mentioned the middle east. NOW! WHO NEEDS TO BE HIT!

Hitting people is threatening their well being. It takes away someone elses rights. Saying "God is forever!!" doesn't take away from your rights.
I haven't been to the middle east and I don't hit people.

No you should not hit anyone ,besides we need the believers to amuse us .
I just love a good Fairy tale once in a while .
Aesops fables is another group of moral teaching stories that are more to the point.

And no we don't do that in the middle east. In the middle east the USA just randomly kills civillians regardless of their religious beliefs.

no we don't-we are not in a religious war-they are. We are killing people for alot of other reasons,but religion isn't one of them,unless your religion is oil.
