Tough question to answer! That's like asking if we will all live to the ripe old age of 90.
You can have two identical vehicles with 93,000 miles but those miles will never be identical! The driver of each vehicle would never be identical! It's rather a very vague question.
You really need to have a "GOOD" mechanic look at the vehicle and evaluate it. Might be the best hundred bucks you ever spent!
Is the vehicle clean? Body nice shape? When you open the oil fill cap is it clean or all gummed up? Is the engine greasy? Any noises, rattles, ticking not normal to an engine? Does the transmission engage properly? Clutch ok? Shift correctly?4Wheel drive work? How's the CV joints? Rearends? Any noises there? Vibrations? These are just a few questions that need answering.
As a mechanic, I would say no because the vehicle is 10 years old and everything on its 10 years! That's probably why it's being sold. Engine, transmission, radiator, etc are more than likely ready for replacement and extremely costly!
For me, they are $500 vehicles! Period! Most car dealers would not even accept a ten year old vehicle on trade for that very reason I've just stated above!

hard question to respond to! it somewhat is like asking if we can all stay to the ripe previous age of ninety. you might have 2 comparable autos with ninety 3,000 miles yet those miles should not be comparable! the motive force of each automobile could by no potential be comparable! it truly is quite an exceptionally obscure question. you somewhat should have a "good" mechanic seem on the automobile and evaluate it. may be the main suitable hundred greenbacks you ever spent! Is the automobile clean? physique superb shape? once you open the oil fill cap is it clean or all gummed up? Is the engine greasy? Any noises, rattles, ticking no longer everyday to an engine? Does the transmission work together proper? take carry of ok? Shift wisely?4Wheel force artwork? How's the CV joints? Rearends? Any noises there? Vibrations? those are in easy terms some questions that desire answering. As a mechanic, i could say no because of the fact the automobile is 10 years previous and each little thing on its 10 years! it somewhat is in all risk why it truly is being offered. Engine, transmission, radiator, and so on are extra effective than possibly waiting for alternative and quite high priced! For me, they're $500 autos! era! maximum automobile sellers does no longer even settle for a 10 year previous automobile on commerce for that very reason i've got in basic terms reported above!

I am not sure but you can get better details from the Kelly Blue Book web site. You are able to give more details on what extras are on the car, condition, location, and miles etc.

97,000 miles is a lot for a Jeep Cherokee. I wouldn't have one personally.

I checked it out somewhat, not knowing all aspects of the vehicle, and it is www.kbb.com

Check out KBB.COM

A V8 in fair condition that year with that mileage is valued at 4,250. So it seems reasonable.

You have to make sure that it has clear title and original mileage. Before paying for it,take it to the mechanic so he can listen to the engine and make sure that car is OK.
