I went to the doc. the other day and was told that I was soft, up close and thinning out, but no dilation yet. He said that I am ready to go all I need to do is dilate and get started. Well I have been walking and have been having sex and cleaning..lol. I have contractions everyday about 30 min apart and not that bad either. However, today I have felt like I have more discharge, no blood or anything bu it is wetting my underware and my walls to my vagina feel really sore and lots of pressure. Im still having the contractions about 30 min. apart and nothing that bad but I cant hardly walk because its so sore down there. He is already in position and his head is already down there so I know that dilation is all thats left. Does this sound like I am dilating to you? Does it sound like it will be much longer? I have an appointment tomorrow but I was just wondering till then if anyone felt like this before they went into labor. Thanks for all your help!

Yess it does sound like it will be either late tonight or tomm. Try to hold on until they are about 10 mins apart then you should get the the Hosp. Good luck. I'd go get checked unless you are up for a home birth. It is possible that you are in labor and further than you think. I almost didn't make it to the hospital with my 3 child. I didn't recognize labor as labor until it was almost too late. I was uncomfortable all day but had no contractions until about 40 minutes before she was born. Good Luck!

Mine started like that-about 6 in the A.M. on Thursday. I walked and walked and went into active labor Thursday night. I had my baby Friday morning at 7:25.

My bet is that sometime tonight you will be holding your new baby. Don't wait to long. Either go to the hospital or call your Dr. for advice. Sometimes these little critters can play tricks on you.
Did much the same to me & he was born at home. No time to get there. 4days after we moved in to our new home. Course that was 33 yrs. ago.Love him to pieces. Good luck & God Bless you both.Give the little one a kiss for me.

with my first son i was in labor for a week. you really should call and check if your are worried but otherwise wait until your contractions are 10 min apart.
you could try drinking 2 oz castrol oil and 2oz orange juice. i did that with my second( i had a midwife this time) and i was in labor with in 2 hours.

With my first child, I had a discharge that was getting me wet but I wasn't sure if my water had broken because it wasn't a gush like I'd always heard that it was. (I think that it had a tear in it but hadn't fully broken.) We went ahead and went to the hospital where it fully broke when they went to examine me. (I had been told that if your water breaks to go ahead and go to the hospital.) It sounds to me like your water has broken. I think you ought to call the doctor or go to the hospital.

iCALL the doctor but every 30 minutes they will send you home if you aren't dialted ... might be hurting from all the sex lol
