If you start with the presumption that Genesis is literally true and infallible because god wrote it, then no amount of evidence to the contrary will persuade you.

evolution, states that everything came to be on its own, and it perfected it self.Which goes against the creation-es. Which believe that every thing was created by God and with a porpoise, not by chances. That's why there is a rivalry between the both. But to answer the question about Everest. The evolutionist claim it took hundreds of years to form, and the creation es say it was formed in the flood of Noah. The most resent studies show that it did take hundreds of years to form but that something all of a sudden caused a change to it . There both right and both are wrong. It did take hundreds of years to form Everest, this doesn't mean the creationist are wrong. They say God created the earth in 6 days, it true but not literal day, but creation days lasting 1000 years each, a total of 6000 year. In that time Everest partially formed. When the flood of Noah's days came this finished forming this mountain. Like i said there both right and both wrong.

Why do people insist there has to be a difference? I don't understand creationist or evolutionist who have to be so closed minded to not even consider an alternitive some where down the middle. Creationists, How do you thing God Made all this. Poof here it is? He has laws established which we have to follow. If we have to follow them do you think maybe he follows them too?
Evolutionists. How can you say evolution is chance or chaos. Both tend to move towards lesser degrees of orginization not more complex? Why does this argument have to continues when rational, intleigent minds from ages past have agreed that neither holds the entire truth?

i also don't see how pure creationists can insist that everything happened the exact way the bible said. i am a creationist/evolutionist - i believe that god created the universe the way the bible said it, but i think god didn't create the universe in 7 days, in the way "days" mean now...i think "one day" is a subjective term...like a day according to god back when he was creating the earth is different than what a day is now (1 earth spin). plus, there's too much proven scientific evidence to say that all organisms now are exactly the same way they were when god created earth. but i dont think science supports the big bang theory enough for me to be convinced that a higher power didn't create the universe....i mean, something had to start the initial combustion, something had to create the first atoms, and god tells us that he was always here. so that doesn't really answer your question but that's my opinion on creationism and evolution.

Creationists just pretend it doesn't exist. If they admitted to that, they'd have to admit to other things that would weaken their theories on God. I don't see how people can't believe in evolution, when it's a scientific process that can be proven. Like those people who don't believe in dinosaurs or the Holocaust.

read it....Transitory-intermediate lifeforms between the worm and whatever it evolved to. We still have the worm, we have the reptile/avian/mammal....but we don't have the billions of remains or living examples need to back up evolution. We don't discount science...NO! Some of the best minds did great things and some of the best minds believed in God. So, you give me carbon dating and erosion, and adaptation to an environment, I ask for the details in between. Without the sudden leap theory

It's simple - just shut off your mind to anything except what your father figure tells you is the truth. Don't question anything and don't investigate or even consider a view that is different from your own.

By arguing on a non-factual basis with zero evidence to support their theory. That's how.
