You would have to mask off the strips with that blue paint masking tape. First for the brown, then for the blue.

Suggestion - If they have that pattern in a flat sheet, use (maybe a couple) hanging on the wall like a curtain. With an eye (a screw with a loop on the end) and strong fishing line as a curtain rod, thread the fishing line through the hem of the sheet - tie off line on the eye hooks secured into the wall.

Brown and blue are assume to be the warm new colorations that all of us is matching, i'd paint brown and blue stripes on your room, consistent with probability utilising a lighter or darker blue that's what on your comforter, relying on what you like, in case you do stripes, verify you employ the 3m blue painters tape, it works rather properly, somewhat tricking to take off, besides the undeniable fact that it works.

What ever you decide to do....try using blue painters tape. It made my projects so much easier. It provides a straight line and a crisp edge yet peels off without fuss and doesn't harm paint under it.
Try painting the room in a soft beige (tint along the color of your comforter) but do alternating stripes of matte (beige) color and satin(beige) color. Subtle. Maybe do key pieces of furniture in the blue? Just an idea :)

A tip from an artist:

The best thing to do when painting stripes, is to make sure all the lines going in the same direction, and next to each other. That's all!
