Why is it that when a woman cheats on a man she wants to be forgiven right away but when a man cheats on a woman she wants him out of her life forever

Interesting - it's usually the other way around - women are more forgiving then men...

well, when men cheat they want to be forgiven right away. and when women cheat, men (if they are smart) usually want them out of their life. I'm sorry, I fail to see what you're trying to say. I think men and women are the same when cheating or being cheated on.

Cheating is never right I don't care who is doing the cheating but women do normally cheat for different reasons than men. Women might cheat because they don't feel like there partner pays enough attention to them or there partner stopped giving complaints. Men normally cheat just for sex. That might be why.

Here is my take on the whole thing---i think that if you cheat, you should not expect to be taken back, because what you did was wrong---if the person you are with thinks that what you had/have is valuable enough not to ditch your ***, then consider yourself lucky-----but other than that, the risk is on you----i think that more men would dump their cheating woman because of their ego, i mean what guy wants to admit that he was cheated on but he kept the girl around----that's right, NO MAN WOULD DO THAT!!!! As for women, i think that since our egos are not so big we will take a cheating man back, or at least forgive him and are more likely to offer a 2nd chance, but we also tend to keep the guy on a short leash for a while and tend to make them prove themselves to us---all that work is to make it up to us for keeping them----also, what guy wants to tell people when they ask why he is single, "I cheated on my girl and she kicked my *** to the curb."----NO GUY WANTS TO SAY THAT EITHER!

no, that goes both ways, cheating is bad all the way around ,if they cheat there is no love or respect , the marriage would be over
