If it is a thought that is coming intrusively into your head and very much upsetting you it may be a symptom of obsessive compulsive disorder. This is a quote from the OCD UK website, go there to find out more.
"OCD can take many forms, but, in general, sufferers experience repetitive, intrusive and unwelcome thoughts, images, impulses and doubts which they find hard to ignore. These thoughts form the obsessional part of ‘Obsessive-Compulsive’ and they usually (but not always) cause the person to perform repetitive compulsions in a vain attempt to relieve themselves of the obsessions and neutralise the fear. Some sufferers will have the obsessions but no outward compulsions – a form of OCD often called ‘Pure O’.
Common obsessions include contamination and germs, causing harm to oneself or to others, upsetting sexual, violent or blasphemous thoughts, the ordering or arrangement of objects, and worries about throwing things away.
Sufferers try to fight these thoughts with mental or physical rituals, the compulsions, which involve repeatedly performing actions such as washing, cleaning, checking, counting, hoarding or partaking in endless rumination. Avoidance of feared situations is also common; however, this often results in further worrying and preoccupation with the obsessional thoughts."
Do NOT worry, people with OCD who have these thoughts NEVER do them. They just get very worried about them. Try going on the forum of the OCD UK website and asking them if this is what you think you have. Also, definitely ask your psych about it. Do you mind if I ask what you're seeing him/ her for? It could be something to do with whatever you already have.

I think that it becomes "wrong" when you act on these impulses -- when the impulses overcome your sense of "right and wrong". See you must, on some level, know that it's not "right" behavior to hurt another person in the ways that your impulses make you feel, or you would not be asking us this question. That is good. This demonstrates that you are capable of recognizing "right from wrong" and you are able to prevent yourself from acting on impulse. With the ongoing help of your doctor, I think that you will feel even more in control of your inner and outer selves. Once you learn to trust yourself to avoid acting on negative impulses such as these biting and cutting may be, you will begin to feel whole again! Good luck.

It is normal to have some aggression issues, you see a psychiatrist, do you mind me asking if you have a mental illness? If you are bipolar this could be a cycle of mania

It's called demonic obsession.
That's obsession NOT possession.
It's real folks.
Everyone is susceptible.
A Christian can vanquish those thoughts by rebuking the demons in the name of Jesus.
Don't even try it if you've not given your life to Christ.

I've had thoughts like that before. It was due to other issues I had. When they were resolved, the thoughts went away also.

People like you should not be allowed to have their freedom. You should be in a mental institution.
