Sure we all have goals in life, and if that involves not having children or been married that's fine.
marriage and children are not the perfect goal in life for all people.
I find with my life style I prefer to have only one person to share my time with, and that does not include other family members or children.

If you are just looking for someone to date and aren't ready for that kind of commitment just yet then it would probably be okay. Just don't expect her to change her mind even if you do.
If you are at the point in your life where you are looking for someone to be married to and have children with then you probably shouldn't get involved with someone who doesn't want the same things. You can't change a person or what they want out of life. I know it sucks but that's the reason the world is so interesting.
I would go out and try to find someone who's desires are closer to your own.

This sounds more like an uncertain and casual relationship. The doors are shut to future possibilities. Maybe that's because this person is still young or has some personal physical problems. Married couples stay together tend to be firmly committed to each other, but able to compromise and overlook each other's differences because they love each other and have to be flexible to go through life's trials and tribulations together. I believe that the couple that cannot commit to each other will have difficulties with more complex cross-purpose issues that come along the way. I think what you are looking for is a night out in town with a regular companion. The childless couples out there usually marry late. Life is like that in its own strange ways.

Getting married sometimes complicates things, you can still be committed without marriage....it's over rated...children are for life and some women don't want that responsibility, and with the way the world is today, having children is scary. Relax and enjoy, you may pass up the best thing that ever happened to you because you were trying to look too far into the future.

No if it means serious. A person who has no desire to marry or have children ever shows that he/she is a coward. Bec they are afraid to take a responsible in his/her life.
However, life is all about choices. Everybody has the right to choose what for their life.
If you meet this kind of person, better not to make a serious relationship then.
