Politicians are afraid to take a stance on the unlawful immigrant subject because of the fact they are fearful of the back lash from the Hispanic vote. The people who wrote the Bible either talked to God or were inspired by Got to write so that others could learn. There are a lot of modern religions that use Bibles written in modern times. However, most of us doubt that God really inspired them and so refere to them as cults.

The Bible was written by people but INSPIRED people. Inspired by God to write the words they did. There is no one more advanced than God himself, so it is very unnecessary to add anything. It also states at the end of Revelations, that no one is allowed to add or take away from anything written, so if anyone did either, they are in big big trouble!

Because new scriptural writings have to be inspired by God. They can only be received by revelation. Most religions have locked God up in a box and believe that he no longer reveals his word to man. There is at least one religion I know of, however, that does believe God speaks to us today through modern prophets (and they do have additional scriptures, which have been added to recently).

They can't because few have the athority to do so. You have to have the keys of the kingdom of heaven as did the prophets and apostles of the Bible. There are only two religions who claim that athority. Catholosism and Mormonism. Only one of those claims to have a prophet and apostles and the same orginization that existed in the church established by Christ.
