Of course they're pushing the '06 models.
GM finally got on the ball and for the '07 models they have a 100,000 mi. warranty.
Push the '06's, they don't fall under the new warranty rules.

They need to get rid of the '06 models. Be prepared to buy and make a really crappy offer. For a $25K car offer about $18K. Then fight it out.
Do not fall for this "How much do you want your payments to be?"
Ask how much is the car, what is the interest rate, how long is the term of the loan.
That first question will allow them to manipulate you all over the place. If your credit is good and you have a down payment then go in there with both barrels blazing. If you leave the lot and they are mad at you, then you made a good deal. If they are real nice and ask you to come back, you got screwed.

This takes some real savvy to get the best deal...there is two ways...one is just call the bank and ask them what they'd loan on one...the other way is to go to www.kelleybluebook.com...type in the car information and then in the milage area put down something like 1000 miles...then compare that price with what the dealer wants for the car. Make them that offer and stand firm they will most likely strike a deal with you.

First off, I need to start shopping a few dealers and see what kind of offers they are making just to get a base price. Also, contact the internet sales office for the dealers instead of calling because I have found they go lower than just a regular sales person. I would say you could get it for around 21,000 or 22,000 easily.

Go with around $18000 to $19000. Tell them that is all I can afford and I will buy it right away if you give me this price. It worked for me twice. I got a 2007 chevy suburban for $29800 with all fees and taxes. I also got a 2005 mb s500 for $74000.
