she is turning 19 and she likes swimming, but the summer is over so that's the wrong direction to go, she likes movies and she likes me and music. I want it to be a badass present. I dont know what, I suck at this. I asked her what she wanted the other day and she said it's the thought that counts. that is such a cop out. she knows I am always thinking of her anyways. somebody help me. PS she works at claires so any sort of fashion accessories are out of the question.

Get her Romance.. a Memory is worth more than any present could ever provide. Maybe a romantic expensive dinner where she and you get dressed up and night out ...with a romantic card & maybe on board a boat/ ship watching a sunset since she likes water. Then rent her favorite chic flick romantic movie and hang out after dinner.. although after so much romance you might not be watching much tv.
Tickets to go on a weekend cruise if your budget allows.
If budget does not allow big giant stuffed animals, chocolate, & Flowers always hit the spot but are not that orgional but still any girl would appreciate.

If I were your girl, I would want an Authentic Customized Dallas Cowboys Throwback w/ my name on it the back and the number 77 for my year of birth : ). But since I'm not, get her some nice perfume or something from bath and body works. Good Luck

A store-bought gift is nice, but I think you should do something with her. Take her to a special concert, or a special play or something that she's been dying to see. Maybe a picnic in the park, just the two of you. You could pack a special lunch, with wine or cheese or something, and don't forget to add a single red rose, make it nice and romantic.

Dude if she likes music look into shows coming near you. If you really get stuck I always just go get a bunch of little things and make like a goodie bag gift. You can get like a cd, candles, some chocolates, massage oils. This is a really good gift if it is a newer relationship and it isn't as boring as jewelry. Make it personal you can put simple stuff from stores she likes like a shirt or panties from Victoria's Secret. My girlfriend's favorite gift is always her X-mas stocking cause I stuff it full of stuff like that.

Get her a lot of flowers. Take her out to dinner, her favorite place or a cool new resturant.. And perhaps if you have several photos of you two lying around you could make her a mini album/scrapbook of you two, print out her favorite lyrics to her favorite song and paste them on the pages with they photos. Or if you two have a "song" then print those lyrics out and paste them in it. That is highly thoughtful, and I think she would like it.

Pay for her a day at the spa. When my husband and I were dating, he did that for me. I got a massage, manicure, pedicure, and a facial. I bet she would think that that was very thoughtful.
