He's still in love with his ex, and he doesn't want a relationship with anyone else right now.

You're not going to get him over her. Just be cool with him, understanding, NOT pushy and give him time.

If he likes you, he may begin to like you more. If he doesn't, let him go. Just don't read more into this than is there. He's TELLING you....I don't want to be in a relationship, I had one, I miss her, and I can't get over her. Hear what he's saying.

He's not wishy washy. He's wounded.

well being a guy and having been in that situation with a woman...i learned the hard way not to go for it because they will eventually end up right back with the ex...besides you want some one who can give themselves to you as a whole not half..we all deserve to be loved and loved with everything you both have..so good luck honey but if i was you i would move on.

Not everyone is as decisive as you are...he is not really over her. Whether it's just an ego thing, not wanting to admit defeat, or it's still some sort of bond, he's just not ready to move on yet.

Give him time...pushing him will only lead to him pushing back, against you.

Perhaps he wants the freedom plus a booty call on the side.
