Yes if the child finds Jesus Christ before he dies and the parent does not.

Then you will be separated from your children for eternity.

I know it's sounds rather morbid, but if you don't think about it then you'll never understand how long eternity is.

And this kind of cruelty is exactly why I chose to not believe in your God! Morbidity and love do not share the same space. To believe God is love, and then turn around and say that utter cruelty is his plan is disgusting. Have you had a child die? Do you even understand the heartache that comes with that experience? If you did you would exercise that compassion your religion professes to have so much of.
And on the same note...have you had a parent die? Both of mine died when I was a child, and just because they didn't believe what you do doesn't mean they are damned! And how dare you or anyone else judge them!

there can be many paths to reach ones destination.GOD is to big to be in just one place.
