I pay $20 a day in NY for my sitter (for my 2 yr. old.)
Some at home daycares range anywhere from $2 an hour up to $4.75 an hour. A regular daycare charges $32 a day for that age.

I live in NY and the prices are high. For daycare full time it is usually about $1500- $2000 per month. For nannycare it ranges between $10 and $20 per hour depending on how many kids and how much housework you want done.
