Talking about illegal immigrants as a whole, from every country from here to New Zealand - letting them come in here and welcoming them with open arms without having to go through the proper paperwork and screening them - What good do you see that doing for OUR country?

for Image 7070 - I'm sorry I think you misunderstood my question. I'm not saying that is what our laws are, I'm asking the supporters of illegal immigrants what good they see from doing that. There is no source because I'm not saying that is how it is, I'm asking them why they support doing that.

Obviously these people are Anti-American. It does us NO good what-so-ever to let in people who haven't been profiled. If we continue to let this madness go on we just might have another 9/11 on our hands. People who are pro-amnesty are on the wrong side of this battle - they're very misguided and don't know what's good for them.

Having people come into the country without proper paperwork and screening might provide an economic benefit to some parties within the United States, but I don't see any benefit to the country as a whole.

While I'm at it, I should probably point out that there's a difference between supporting illegal immigration and supporting illegal immigrants. There's also a difference between supporting illegal immigrants and sympathizing with them. Nobody I know condones the action (immigrating illegally), but plenty of us sympathize with the individual's desire to come here and bypass legalities in the process. (There are quotas, preferences, lengthy waiting periods, and backlogs. Most immigration cases take several years to finish. Applicants coming from certain countries might be able to come here in 2010, at the earliest.)

Its not just Illegal Immigrants. It's all the people who live in OUR country and want to just sit on the butt and have the government pay for them. They get houses, and cars and money and food from the government. So since they get everything from the government for free they decide to just sit and get welfare. Paperwork is alot harder then eveyone thinks. Everyone has their own point of view, people should be a little bit more open minded.

I don't necessarily support them coming without screening I'm all for screening. I think if the screening were more stringent and the other part of the process easier it would be easier all around. I realize this takes co-operation on all countries parts maybe then we would not have the "problems" But then we would have a record to follow say give them 2 years to get established and followed up on in a sense probation with a probation officer, fees paid by the person and all if certain goals are not met then they don't stay. In some countries there are no birth records school, criminal etc..... To show for legal entry. But to say they can't come because this is my Country to me is like saying it's my ball and you can't play.

These so called supporters are most likely lawbreakers themselves.

Employers who are making a killing profit off illegal aliens or Slum lords that are renting dumps to 15 - 20 illegal aliens in one household.

Or the Supporters are illegal aliens that have became citizen through Amnesty themselves. That want their fascist 3rd world relatives to come invade our county and abuse our system!

Those Americans wishing to grant them Amnesty are simply rewarding illegal behavior.

The illegal aliens are lawbreakers and criminals and illegal foreign Nationals that broke our laws getting here. To reward them would be wrong!

Just break a few rules or laws yourself and see what kind of reward you get!!!!!! Why do they get to break the laws and get away with it???

They are costing American taxpayers $70 BILLION Dollars a year to support them! Studies say, if we give them Amnesty, that cost will TRIPLE.

They're a drain on society. The Sympathizer that says, "They just want a better life", forget they're dragging us down at the the expense of America's future.

The illegal aliens should go home and make their own countries a better place to live instead of lying and cheating and stealing their way to a better life at our expense!

The illegal aliens have killed 20 thousand American people sinced they have invaded. Bin Ladin only killed 3,000 people.

First of all, I am not welcoming them with open arms....I am for secure borders, however, some have already slipped through and are here simply for work and survival....I agree, its not right they come in with out documents.....But what do you do with the many already here for years, who have families and roots here, do not have a criminal records and make an attempt to be follow the laws and rules of our country, despite the fact they entered illegally and that being there only crime?? Its easy to just say, throw them out, when in fact you havent walked in there footsteps....I think allowing them amnesty would be more than fair, provided they have never been on public assistance and can prove they are a working member of society, capable of paying taxes....How do you feel about this compromise? Remember, I am not saying legalize them all, BY NO MEANS....But for those who can prove they are contributing member of society, perhaps they can be allowed to remain....

United We Stand, just because I support amnesty doesn't make me a traitor....Both my brother and father serviced in the Army and Navy to protect the freedoms you now enjoy....We were brought up to love this country and to die for it.....I volunteer with CASA, child advocates, to help my local community of abused children, please don't tell me I am UNAmerican, just because I am able to see the human element with the illegal immigration issue....Its so easy to point a finger and make judgements about people you know nothing about.....You say I am a traitor, I say you are heartless.....

It does no good whatsoever. They are a huge burden to the tax payers. Everyone can't live here. America is the greatest nation on earth but these illegals that we have seen recently, they don't deserve what America has to offer. I am talking about the ones who fly our flag upside down with their buzzard rag on top.

America is great, but EVERYBODY can't live here. These folks need to fix their own countries rather than bringing their problems to the US and making them ours. If they want to be here bad enough, they need to go through the proper process. Yes it's long, hard and expensive. It should be to earn the right to be a citizen of the greatest nation in the world. People should have something of value to bring to this country in order to be a citizen. Particularly if one wants all the benefits and "rights" of being here rather then here to suck off every system they can dig their claws into.

It's doing no good for our country. We need to "welcome them with open arms" by letting them come here legally. Check out their health, document them, give them and tax id# and let them pay taxes and work here legally. Let them pay into our government and then we won't have the right to complain when they need assistance. How complicated is that?
