then how can a Minister or Pastor or any other theologian tell us what is meant in the bible. I believe that anyone of us can read the bible and take away from it only what we can grasp. What is in God's mind is more than any of us can understand OR know.

Well, contrary to what you have presumed, we can know (to a degree) what is in God's mind, through His written Word and through His Holy Spirit.

As it is written:

A person who isn't spiritual doesn't accept the things of God's Spirit, for they are nonsense to him. He can't understand them because they are spiritually evaluated. The spiritual person evaluates everything but is subject to no one else's evaluation. For "Who has known the mind of the Lord so that he can advise him?" However, we have the mind of Christ." (I Corinthians 2:14-16)

Those who are born again (or from above) have the Holy Spirit who teaches, guides and speaks the will of God. As Jesus taught:

"Yet when the Spirit of Truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. For he will not speak on his own accord, but will speak whatever he hears and will declare to you the things that are to come." (John 16:13)

The reason that people don't understand the Bible, and what it says, is because they are unregenerate. Thousands sit in church not understanding, because they have not submitted to the Lordship of Christ. They still rule their own lives, and haven't repented.

While it is true (to a degree) that we don't know completely what is in God's mind, because He alone is infinite, and we are finite, He does make known to us what He wants us to do. He has communicated to us first, in His Word, and secondly through the Holy Spirit.

your right we cant understand much of God really. thats because we are uncapable of it. the human mind cannot grasp ideas like the trinity (God being three different people and one all at the same time) but, God does speak to us through the bible and pastors should not be trying to tell you something you could not figure out on your own from the bible. if you question anything your pastor tells you, then the only thing to try it against is the bible. if your pastor is scriptual, then he will be able to back up what he says with scipture

We can receive direct inspiration and encouragement in our daily lives by reading the Bible. But as far as objectively determining what is and what is not doctrinal truth, it should be obvious by now that no individual and no Bible study group can do so. This novel approach to Christian belief came about a few hundred years ago, when Luther and his small band of followers rejected the genuine authority which had kept the Christian church united in truth for 1,500 years, and decided that a book compiled under the authority of the Church whose authority they were rejecting would be their new authority. From that day to the present time, the history of Protestantism has been one of continuous division, fragmentation, conflicting beliefs, and general doctrinal chaos, in clear and direct violation of the stated will of God, "that they all may be ONE, even as You Father and I are ONE".

It would seem that after 500 years of such ongoing self-destruction, any rational person would now be ready to admit that it JUST DOESN'T WORK. However, the realization that there is only one alternative - returning to the One True Church Jesus Christ founded for them - keeps them in bondage to this manmade tradition where no-one can really know what is true, because everyone claims that their own beliefs must be true because they came "right from the Bible", even though their beliefs conflict on hundreds of points with the beliefs of many other denominations, who of course also claim that their beliefs come "right from the Bible".

True, we do not know God's mind, but we are left with the Bible. A holy book where in the people who wrote it are someone who have lived during the time his presence is being felt and during the time his son Jesus arrived on earth.
And all that is written in the bible are words to tell us what God wants us to be, we may not know what tomorrow would bring but we know what we must do to be ready for tomorrow.

That's why you pray and ask for God's guidance. The Bible is called God's "living word" because it comes alive to people in different ways. Have you ever read a verse or passage in the Bible and it didn't mean anything to you at the time and then maybe even years later you read the same verse and you "got it?" It's happened to me a lot. God shows up what we need to give us strength for what we are going through at the time or guidance. Pastors spend their lives and time devoted to scriptures and praying for that knowledge to enlighten us. I think it's too complex to grasp it all at one time. God lets us have it in little doses. That's why He says to "hide the word in your heart" because you can recall it at a time later in your life when you need it.

That is true but he can reveal to us what we need to know. That has been the job of prophets through out time. THe bible is a colection of writings by Prophets or apostles. They were given information needed by the world from God. They are our gate way. We can also recieve direct revelation for our own lives. But if those two things differ you need to question the sorce. And remmebr what is revealed is not always what we want to hear.

We go to Bible Study as a group so we can decide for ourselves what the Bible is saying. If you try to do it all alone, it's too easy to take something out of context and change the whole meaning.

if I'm your boyfriend or lover then if i don't tell you about my past, tell you if i cheat. then obviously I AM L Y I N G!!!!! by omission. so if god doesn't tell each of us on a personal level everything we should know WITHOUT trusting another mans words in a book, then so to is HE lying by omission. the bible is a joke. it was not written by god but by people. no where in the world is anything stamped in the world saying (this is god, this i what i want you to do) so anyone saying so on his behalf is obviously lying by omission as well. what proof do they have that they heard gods spoken or written word and bring that to us? what proof do they provide you for this? faith? some code that was manufactured using witchcraft knowledge in the first place? (ever wonder why nature loving people are so evil? maybe they don't want anyone to find out how much was stolen from witches to make their religion work in the first place!!!!)
hope this helps

study, just like you would anything else. Your history books, your science books.
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (KJV)
Luke 24:45 Then he opened their minds that they might understand the Scriptures.

You are absolutely correct. All theology is "best guess" based on learned knowledge, inspiration, and faith. We can only know what God has revealed to us through His son and His word. The rest is all conjecture.
