First, you have to figure out why it is awake all night. Try to keep it busy and awake during the day if possible so it will sleep more at night.

Ask your vet. But when my cat is scared I give her 10mg of Benadryl Liquid. She sleeps for about 10-12 hours.

Sounds like your dog is in discomfort - experiencing pain that is not allowing it to sleep. Take it to the vet.
In the meantime confine the dog to another area.

They are traditionally guard dogs, actually. So it is in their nature to be up and active and on guard. If this is a change in behavior, then yes, talk to your vet.
