Very difficult outside of Japan. Life is a commodity in most of these countries and you will find that the only people willing to buy insurance for anything are the ones most likely to use the policy. Most people in the US consider insurance to be some kind of "free lunch" and do not consider its long term cost. In Asia, they know that hardship is just around the corner and prepare as best as they can. If they could afford insurance, then they are already prepared for hardship therefore do not need or want insurance.
