Im 21, just had a baby.....And so did my 40 year old mom. Kinda kool huh. My baby brother is 24 days older than my son. Any input from others out there?

Its not really that big of a thing and actually..it will be really neat. Your brother (uncle of the baby) isn't too much older, so it will be someone that your son can play with as well as look up to. Since your brother is the uncle, he can help out in sticky situatuations that you need help in, and your son will accept it more easily coming from someone closer in age to him. Do you get what i'm saying? (I know i dont explain things very well sometimes ) But anyway, I think that it will be neat and work to your advantage as well! It will give him some one to play with!! My mom was pregnant 2 different times along with 2 of my older sisters.
Mom was pregnant with my sister (she is 17) and my oldest sister was 16 at the time when she had her first son. So my lil sister and my nephew are only 7 months apart.
The second time my mom was pregnant (she was 38) with my lil brother, my other sister was pregnant too. So my mom had my lil brother in jan. of 1995 and my sister had her daughter in nov. of 1994.
If you are wondering my mom had 7 kids. She started when she was 16 and stopped at 38.....
Me and my sister was pregnant together. We had our sons only 2 months apart and both of us had them at 36 weeks.
So my lil brother is an uncle to someone older than him. It is weird to sit and think about that.
Talk about cool though my mama and papa had 21 kids together. I could go on and on about my family.
That is cool though. Congrats on your baby and your brother.

I think that is so awesome! Your mom has done this already and obviously did a great job of it (I can tell by your attitude). Wont it be great to raise your little ones together? What a wonderful blessing!!!! Congratulations to you and your mother! And yes I'm from the south too.

I dunno exactlly how I feel about that. I mean it is a bit weird.My boyfreid's mom has a 10 month old son and me and my boyfreind have a 10 month old daughter. His mom's son is just a few weeks older then our daughter.Plus his mom has grandkids that are 7,6,4,3,3,and 1 year old.I dunno I think it is weird and odd. I would of hated it if my mom had kids after I did or around the same time as me.

and people are actually proud of this. lol
Congrats on your new baby... at least you are 21 and taking it in a good way... if my mom just had a child and so did i, i would be freaking out from the fact that she is having sex.... anything that happens in regards to a parent having sex creeps the adverage person out. lol

Believe or not this is quite common in the south.I think it is cool you are so excepting of it. People I know who have a aunt/uncle their age thinks it gross.Good luck to your wonderful family.
