Small birds (eg quails, baby chickens, duckling etc.) are delicious. What others? Sparrows? Starlings? Thrushes? Robins? Blackbirds? Wrens? It seems a pity to waste them when my cat brings them in.

When we was kids, whatever we shot we ate. Black birds and starlings are tough and have a really wild taste. We always ate robins cause they tasted like dove. The other small bird take to many to make a meal. I would suggest letting the kitty eat whatever it catches.

Never tried it and double dead arent good to eat. They actually contain toxins that can be harmful to your body.
