NO! Let me repeat... NO!!!

Look at every reason already listed and believe me there are twice as many that have not been thought of.

A difference of 4 years does not mean as much in their 20's or 30's or up...but at this point it is a HUGE difference. Maturity level, life goals etc.

It is inappropriate and illegal!!!

Absolutely not. The 15 year old and the 19 year old are at two different places in their life. One is still in early teenage years and the other is in adulthood though still a teen. The 19 year old could have possibly experienced things that the 15 year old has not yet, sex being one of them. Plus there is the entire legal standpoint. If the 19 year old has sex with the 15 year old it is considered statutory rape even if it was consentual.

The rule in our house is no more then 3 years age diffrence. I do NOT think that it is ok for a 15 & 19 year old need to be together. You also might want to check out the laws, because here in Texas, I know that the law states that 3 years is the limit, as long as one person is a minor. Good luck.

Why not? Age differences occur all the time. Having said that there should be a caution here. Since 19 is considered a legal adult, sexual activity with a minor is illegal in every state I know if. Even if the sex is consensual.

Be careful in what you do with the 15 year old. You may find yourself in a world of trouble.

that is a question you should be figuring out for yourself and not with others.
if yo dont think a 15 and a 19 year old should be together then dont.
more than likely that 19 year old is just looking for a one timer if you know what i mean and nothing more. what does this 19 see in the 15 year old other than that?

My daughter is 15 and her boyfriend just turned 19.They are both very happy with each-other and they love each-other very much. There are some 'rules'(I mean I suggest something to my daughter and she decides doing it or not doing it).I suggested meeting the boy and she agreed(I didn't make her taking the boy at home, just mention it as an idea, that's how she was a lot more willing to do it).I suggested considering the contraceptives and helped my daughter talk with a doctor when SHE decided to.The meet each-other when they want during day and I insist on her being at home before 23:00 o'clock. After seeing my 'example' behavior, she decided to be more responsible after seeing I won't be responsible for her relationship, because it's not MY relationship. Now she insists on the boy taking her at home if it's late.

No way. It is only four years difference, but think of how much more mature you were at 19 than you were at 15. And what 19 wants to hang out with a 15 year old just becasue he "likes" her. I'd wonder what his intentions were!

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have three boys and a girl. My oldest is 14, almost 15, and a boy... never would I allow any of them to date an older teen. Why even risk what a 19 yrs old will do to a 15 yr old???

I SAY NO...because, at that age they have absolutely nothing in common. A 15 year old hanging out with a 19 year old can only result in trouble. Why would a 19 year old want to hang out with a 15 year old...THAT'S TOOOO CREEPY.
