Take Airborne! I think I spelled it wrong, but it seriously works great! You can get it at the drug store.....it's a pill that you disolve in water and drink. It actually tastes pretty good too!

Get 7-8 hours of sleep each night. Eat a healthy, balanced diet. Don't eat or drink after another person. Get a new toothbrush each time you get a cold or sore throat. You'll prevent reinfections. Don't borrow other peoples cosmetics. Use a paper towel to turn off the water in public bathrooms and usa a paper towel to open the door from bathrooms. You know how many people don't wash or wash incompletely after using the loo.

Take a multivitamin each day and drink or eat a citrus fruit each day.

Get a flu shot, by all means.

You sure it was from some people? I ask cause I recently had sore throat, swelling and fever but I discovered it was from tainted carrots. Yes I had all the flu symptoms but I new it couldn't be the flew cause of taking Flu tea (a herb to combat the flu). I was thinking I might have Lupus.. well it was Botchalism and the cure was Dandelion tea.
Sailors use to drink Green Tea or else Dandelion tea and eat Onions and Garlic to keep Healthy.. Maybe that will reduce your chances of getting sick by doing what sailors did! You could grow your own food in healthy
soil using healthy seeds and healthy fertilizer.
To complete avoid sickness you'd have to give up lots of things.. cars, trucks, walking where vehicles are. You'd have to go to completely unpolluted area.. I don't think there's
such a place on the surface of this world but there maybe under the bottom of the sea or Ocean!. Also you'd have to avoid all manufactured foods and polluted foods. Realistically the best we can do is make oneself as immune as possible against illness. Herbs can help here: Pau D' Arco,
Ginseng, Garlic, Onion, Clover, Dandelion,
Astralagus, Rosehip, Rosemary, Cinnamon,
Kelp, Devil's Claw. for complete list see your local Herbalist or go to the Local Health Food Store. Also drink at least 5 glasses of liquid
a day. (Don't count coffee as one as that is a drug.. for ever cup of coffee you drink you need an extra cup of liquid).. fruit juice and a uncooked apple or orange is good! Reduce your consumption of manufactured foods!
I won't say you'll be without illness but you'll be sick a lot less

Get a flu shot; stay AWAY from people who sneeze or cough; do NOT shake hands with people who say they are sick; wash your hands often during the day and keep them away from your mouth.

okay, good question...there are no 100% guarentees, but there is one thing you can do that will dramatically reduce your risk of sickness. keep your hands clean, and do not touch your face or mouth unless you have just washed your hands. most illnesses are transmitted through contact with germs on surfaces touched or used by the sick person-doorknobs, sink handles, etc.

Especially learn the right way to wash your hands-use soap, briskly rub your hands and let the clean water rinse them thoroughly, under your nails and rings too. do not turn off the water with your clean, wet hand-the germs are there waiting. use a piece of paper toweling to turn the water off-remember, you turned the water on with your dirty hands, right? dry your hands thoroughly on a clean towel. Make this a habit and you will enjoy much more sick-free time...

load up on vitamins, natural tea and try to sanitize everything as much as possible as most germs can be airborne as well... lysol spray wipes especially door handles common areas.. i also read that the most germ infested area is the handle of a shopping cart beware!!
