Why do guys feel this need to contradict themselves? Why do they act like they love a girl, but never say it. Then they crush her and when she has cried every possible tear and can only ask the final question of "Do you really love me?" they say "No"?

Ok, for the record, he really didn't try to sleep with me! Sex was never a big thing in our relationship, nor did either of us want it to be!

Oh puh-LEEZE, you women are just as bad, if not worse.
A guy may lie to you because he wants to get into your pants, but at least you can predict what his motives are. I've seen girls be incredibly flirtatious with me, but when I finally decide to ask them out, they run away from me in utter terror. What the hell, man??
As for the not telling you he l oves you bit, he's not telling you that because no matter what you WANT him to think, society has taught him that you cannot under ANY circumstances tell your girl that you love her, or else she'll think that you're proposing marraige right then and there, and women fear you after you reveal your love for them.
At least if a guy lies, his lies are logical in nature.

Oftentimes, a guy will like a girl, but the GIRL gives no indication that she also likes the guy in return. Even if she does give an indication, us guys do not pick up on it. Guys DO NOT like to get rejected. We will only usually ask out the girl that will be a definite yes. Girls do the same thing here to hurt people. It's happened to me! So do not dare pin this on guys only! It's a matter of people not knowing what they want. And when the girl has gone through SOOOOO much pain and finally asks him, he has probably showed signs of backing off. Why you ask? He's probably moved onto someone he knows likes him. TOUGH LUCK!! Maybe the girl should show the guy she is interested instead of feigning interest whenever a guy shows you some!

Why do girl's continue to let guys, hurt them, over and over. Even though they have a guy, that loves, them... And treats them better, than they have ever been treated. It makes no sense, that they would sit there, and try to get some, guy that dosn't give to pennies about them, when they have a good man, at home.

I hate it when people generalize guys.. I'm a girl but not all guys are like that and the ones who are are total jerks. I'm sorry if you've had a terrible break up but you need to be strong and brave enough to move on.. Whoever your ex was, he certainly wasn't nice and he's left you totally crushed and the effect he wants it to have on you is working.. he wants you to feel like all guys are like that so you'll never fall in love again. Don't fall victim to that, be STRONG! I can't promise you that the next guy you meet won't be like that but you'll find the right one some day. Nothing hurts as bad as when you see that you gave up too easily..
Keep striving and don't give in..

Its because that particular man has never felt that pain or been in love for that fact. Its a broken heart and it does heal with time just when you think you cant take another second. And a helpful hint;; nothing can get you over an man like getting under a new one. Keep your head up.

If we could answer that question all our problems would be gone. Guys are idiots that don't know how to grow up. They need to realize they won't be young forever and get with the program and realize and appreciate when they got something good before it's too late

Honestly, you have to know a man before dating him. Every woman should do her own "info check" on her guy to be. Also, look at his friends. If they are known cheaters, heartbrakers and buttheads, most likey so are their friends. You just need to know who you get involved with. If you don't then thats when you find yourself hurt.
