My favorite, and yes I have one, is the Border Collie. That intense stare, their intelligence and their ability to train quickly are all traits I love about the breed. Considered to be the smartest breed, but not without flaws. That inteligence will get them into trouble as they can bore easily resulting in destructive behavior. We are training ours for agility so as to give her a job to work her physically and mentally.

I have 2 Maltese that I love. I've always liked Min Pins and Golden Retrievers as well.

Big friendly dogs with floppy ears and waggy tails. Not the jumping variety.

German shepherds, siberian huskies, labradors, all kinds of dogs that are big. I don't like little tiny ones that you can hold in one hand

Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retrievers. They are gentle, patient, yet energetic but not too energetic. They're loving and cute.
