I used to date a guy for 8 years, and we broke up 'cause "he wasn't ready for a commitment"... I'm going to a party where is sure he is gonna be there, and I'm not dating anyone at this moment, but I don't want him to know it, so, please, help me with my question, should I or shouldn't?

Many of the problems you may be facing could be just the tip of the iceberg on what is really happening in your marriage. I dont mean to scare you but many problems when they either first show up or if they keep reoccurring could be just whats showing from a larger problem that either you or your spouse cannot even see. One of the only things you can do to help is to talk honestly and openly with each other in the marriage. If things become more serious more serious options need to be looked at as possibilities. Love is a choice that is made everyday when you wake up and every night when you go to sleep. Some days you may not feel the original feeling but love isnt a feeling or an emotion. Its an action a verb. Falling out of love may just mean you need to spice things up a little or that you were never in love in the first place. Don't just get out of a marriage just because you don't think you like the person anymore.

So, go to the party you sweet thang, show your stuff, be amazing! You will have the time of your life with or without that person from your past noticing. And that, is what you should do!!! Are you a teenager? Because that is exactly the type of behavior that teens exhibit. Don't smash your head against a wall over something that is supposably in the past...LET THIS GO AND MOVE ON! So what if you aren't dating anyone...so what if he is going to be there....so what? There are people that go through periods in their lives and don't have anyone to spend their time with. What business is it of his?? Do you honestly think that this would make him jealous?? Please. More than likely he wouldn't really care one way or another. What he would really have to wonder is what the heck was wrong with you, if he found out you brought a gigalo to the party. Oh--and everyone else would think that too. Get over it.

First off, grow up. If you want to take a date, that's fine, but a fake one to make him jealous is so junior high. Second, if he was with you for 8 years and decided to end it, move on. Anyone who is with someone for 8 years and can't commit, probably never will. Why would you want someone who didn't love you enough to commit after all that time?

No, dont do it. Not only is that kinda childish, his he worth the time and money? Not if he let you go. If you were together for 8 yrs and he doesnt want you, thats his loss! If the only way he would want you back is if hes jealous, hes not worthy of you in the first place. You need a man who wants to be with you, loves you for you, and truly cherishes you for who you are. When a man feels that way about you, he wont let you go. And remember, we as women are to be found, not the other way around. So go to that party, take a girlfriend and have a great time. You dont need him to validate you you -be happy with yourself first. That stuff just usually works in movies.
Your best bet is to just see if you can find a date for the evening without having to pay someone off (like a co-worker, or actually a real date). If you can't pull that off, just get yourself all sexy and show him what he is missing out on.

why would you want to put on air's, if your not dating your not dating i would not subject myself to such nonsense girl put on your best sexy but classy outfit and get your hair done up real sexy and cute, get a Mani & pedi put on some sexy strappy high heels and go to that party with girls or enter solo either way he's gonna look, even if he has a date or not he's gonna take one look at you and think damn she's been really enjoying the break up and if you did not dress up or get sexy often for him or when you and him went out this is really gonna piss him off or he's gonna want to get back with you lol use your charms and not your wallet that is a very desprate move lol

If you want to make him jealous, show him that you ca have a good time without him. But if you really want to make him jealous find out where he goes on the weekends. Once you do that, take as many as your friends with you to where he is,parties clubs ect..... When he sees you mad that only makes him stronger and willin to do other thing to make tou madder
