This is my favorite, I deep fry them. Heat the oil to 375F. Make up a batter of a cup of flour and a beer with seasonings you like. In another plate or dish, put in about 3 cups of flour with the same seasonings (no beer). When the cod is still partially frozen, dip in the flour, then the batter, and drop in the fryer. I keep the baskets down for this, but keep shaking them to keep them from sticking. When they're golden brown, remove and put on a paper towel lined plate.

We can't get enough of these. Neither could my customers. The coating turns out so light and fluffy!

Thanks for asking the question - I have some cod in the fridge to make for tonight, and was thinking about posing the same question. You saved me 5 points and earned me two points. I can't decide between battered and deep-fried (which I love, but what a pain-in-the-*ss the cleanup is), and some version of oven-baked.
