Nioxin shampoo and scalp therapy will make your hair grow quickly. It works by stimulating your scalp as it is cold when you put it on and causes the blood to rush to your head to try to warm it. Extra blood flow=increased nutrients and therefore, increased growth. These products can be purchased in salons and are pretty pricey but last quite a while and really, really work. Also, try to keep your hair trimmed up and free of split ends. Split ends break therefore making your hair shorter so if you can get just the ends trimmed off every 6-8 weeks, JUST the ends, you will see your hair long in no time. Hope this helps!

Hairstyles do nothing except make your hair look pretty. Try massaging your scalp. This will stimulate your folicles and promote faster growth. For example, instead of growing 6 inches per year, you could grow 7, possibly more depending on how often you do it. Do it everyday, or even a few times a day. Just use your fingertips, and in the shower really massage the shampoo in for a couple minutes using your fingernails.

well i had the same problem when i was like fourteen and fifteen...
i realized that i had split ends so bad that my hair was almost fried at the end and it wouldn't grow(and may i add that my hair at the time wasn't much longer than my shoulders)
so what i had to do is get my hair trimmed every month to two months
i also got my hair layered. I think that getting your hair layered is a good way of getting rid of split ends and still having a nice hair style.
and today i don't have split ends and my hair grows and it healthy and is growing out nicely.

People say prenatal vitamins but my doc said that it was actually the hormones my body produced during pregnancy that made my hair grow long. My nails also gre like crazy and I got a perfect complexion.
My hair dresser said that one should brush her hair every night before going to bed. Its like a scalp massage that stimulates growth, keep a balanced diet, get rid off split ends and keep your hair moisturized.
Braids made my hair break. But my hair is not very strong.Maybe yours won't.

Only way to grow your hair is literally to leave it alone. Hair grows at it's own growth rate and there's nothing you can do about it. Want it long then keep the scissors away from it.

What works for me when I am doing the same thing is to take a multivitamin everyday and get a trim when your ends start splitting. This will keep your hair healthy so it can grow.

Vitamins! Try Viatmin E and Folic Acid. I've heard prenatal vitamins but I don't know if it's true. Also keep it trimmed, healthy hair always looks longer because there are less split ends.

If you are black then try leaving your hair in micros or braided in any style for a year that is without perming also, and I guarantee you will see a big improvement.

If you are african american, braids will get your hair to grow, try getting corn rows twice in a row, letting them stay in 3 weeks. But condition your hair good first. Also try hair food.
