One problem with advertising a dog as "free to a good home" is that it is difficult to tell whether the home that takes your dog is a "good home". By your own admission, you have little time (not surprising with 6 children to take care of!) to check.
I've given you a list of rescues in Scotland. They will have the time and experience to give the dog a better chance of finding a good home. Maybe the first rescue you try won't be able to take him on, if so - try the next one. Hope it goes well.

Have you tried returning him to his breeder? You may also want to consider placing him with a rescue group, particularly a breed specific group, as the results are often much happier than with a 'free to good home' type ad. Generally, free dogs just encourage people who aren't really 100% committed or capable of taking care of a dog to get one = and then in a few days or weeks the dog is advertised and the cycle starts all over again. Get help to place him in a permanent home right away and save your dog the stress and the risk of getting scooped up by the wrong folks.
Good luck!

why get the pore dog in the firat place, with 6 kids you should have thought about it first, some people just dont learn, a dog isnt a toy you can disgard when you feel like it, it needs a loving home, people like you really pee me off, i hope he/she gets a good home with some one who will care about him/her, just dont think of getting another dog

it may be that you have to be very careful here, the problem with internet access is you really can't tell who you're dealing with. get rid of your dog conventionally please. the rspca will find a good home.

????? this isn't the classifieds. you should put it in your local newspaper. you ask questions here. not to advertise your dog for sale.
