if you want to delete some links, not all:
go to the website in the history, right click, delete.

To remove a site from history list; move the curser to the site and "right click" it, then click on "delete"

For Internet Explorer go to; Start,Configuration Screen
Double click the Internet Options icon,from the general tab you can delete all browser history and cookies.

And for Mozilla just go to tools, Clear Private Data and check what you want removed.
