I want to know about physical and chemical separation processes in chemical engineering

Borrow a Perry's Handbook and look at it.

General separation for studying chemical engineering involve mass transfer operations.

Mass Transfer operations, distillation, liquid extraction, evaporation. and the like.

Physical separation could be settling, screening, filtering.

Or you could have a combination like recrystalization, where crystals are produced then filtered out.

there are a lot like sublimation , sedimentation , evaporation , distillation etc.. which one in specific ?
