Genesis 7 does not include marine life. It says every living thing that moved along the earth perished - birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm aver the earth, and all mankind.
Also, the book of Psalms mentions how the mountains were raised, and the valleys were made low as a result of the flood. There was geologic catastrophe which resulted in major terrain changes. As a result, the flood waters did not need to cover Mt Everest, because it didn't exist in its current form prior to the flood.

Hey, your swift ....don't need to protect fish from a flood.
Wow!
The flood is not just Biblical.
It is also accepted by various sciences.
Sir Henry Howorth noted that over the entire length of Siberia some cause swept away, simultaneously, all forms of earthly life.
He wrote in The Mammoth and the Flood:
“We want a cause that should kill the animals, and yet not break to pieces their bodies, or even mutilate them, which would bury the bodies as well as kill the animals, which could sweep together animals of different sizes and species, and mix them with trees and other debris of vegetation. What cause competent to do this is known to us, except rushing water on a great scale? Water is the only cause known to me capable of doing the work on a scale commensurate with the effects we see in Siberia.”

Obviously, marine life would not be killed off by a little water. Oh, and by the way....The great flood is religiously universal and a historical fact. Take a world history class.

Actually, If there was a global flood such as the one in the bible, The atmospheric pressure would have killed Noah. Another thing, fish fossils have a way of getting up mountains-We call it plate tectonics. There are also Tornadoes, which at times go on water, and then it RAINS fishies. :)

Sea life wasn't a bunch of wicked sinners. Only land life.
Here's another one: Didn't anyone at the time have a boat? A raft? Give me a break!

Seriously, even the most fundamental, literal interpretaion of the Bible, Christians tell it like the fish are just swimming around in the water, and the point wasn't to kill all life, just all human life.
I wouldn't worry about that one too much.

Noah took air breathing animals on the ark. The animals living in the water had no problems.
