My heart truly hurts regarding the things that you have said referencing My Lord and Savior. Not for Him, He can handle what you have to say, but for you and the thoughtless, irreverent, words filled with hurt, and all being covered up in clever jargon. I hope and I pray that you will see what you said in the scope of its true form.

No- the Jewish Pharisees who claimed to love God had strayed from a truly holy path- if they were truly holy men they should have realised that He was the Messiah described in Isaiah's predictions. Jesus was merely excercising His Father's instructions and showing the Pharisees what the real message of the Bible was- helping society's outcasts, peace and devotion.
Being placed on the cross was part of the Divine Mission- to save mankind from their sins- "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do". Judas was also a part of this- his betrayal was also a part of the Plan.
The government of the time was corrupted- many Jewish leaders simply allowed the Romans to take over with little or no resistance, and no support for those who did. The Romans were equally as guilty- they treated the Jewish inhabitants with contempt, killing many and ransacking the temples and taking the gold and jewels to Rome for the Emperor. A relief of the sacking of Jerusalem was depicted on the Arch of Trajan.
So how can a corrupt and selfish government such as this be a 'rightful' government?
So you are wrong on all accounts. Try reading the Bible sometime, especially the Gospel of John.

You are either ignorant, foolish or both. You make statements which are either full of 1/2 truth or outright lies.
You say that Jesus stirred up opinion against the "rightful government." Do you mean the Roman government? If you do then you don't know what you are talking about. When Jesus was asked about paying taxes He told them to give to Ceasar what belongs to Ceasar. Regardless of what some of His followers expected Him to do He did not come to establish His kingdom here on earth. I challenge you to site even one passage that suggests that He did.
Perhaps the authority that you are talking about was the religious authorities such as the Pharasee's and Saducees. He was a revolutionary against them, you are correct. He taught that He was the "Way, Truth and Life. No man comes to the Father except through me." and, "I and my Father are one." .. and "except a man be born again He cannot see the kingdom of heaven." ... and when asked if He claimed to be God, He replied, "I Am.".. a phrase the Jews recognized as His devine claim and blasphemy to them.
But if you meant these authorities the answer is no. Even they recognized that they had not authority to crucify someone. Only the Roman empire had that authority. That is why they brought Him before Pilate.
So Jesus came to earth to be a sacrifice for your sins so that you could have a personal relationship with Him. You have free will and so have every right to reject and ridicule Him... just as they did as they scourged Him. But the day will come that you will reap the consequences of what you have sown. If you die in your sins, rejecting a relationship with God through His Son, God will honor your choice and you will spend eternity seperated from the One Who loves you. You won't be able to say, "I didn't know." because you've been told. You won't be able to say, 'That's not fair." because you will recieve that which you have freely chosen. You will be without excuse.
Hope this helps.

The Romans (the Military authority) wanted to control the people by physical might. The Jews (the Religious authority) wanted to do the same by ideology. The average person was being crushed between the two stones, the Romans and the Jews. Lord Jesus attempted to show them a more human way of life. This may have been revolutionary as the teachings of Lord Jesus were based on the teachings of the 'east'. The concepts of love, peace, tolerance, endurance, forgiveness, humility, caring, truth, are all found in Hinduism too.
Lord Jesus believed in reincarnation.
All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. IF THEY HAD BEEN THINKING OF THE COUNTRY THEY HAD LEFT, THEY WOULD HAVE HAD OPPORTUNITY TO RETURN.
Instead they were longing for a better country - a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them. (Heb 11:13-16)
In the context of this passage, which is talking about what happens when people die, the sentence in capitals I believe is a clear statement of the concept of reincarnation.
In the 6th century, in the year 553 A. D., the 2nd Council of Constantinople officially declared reincarnation a heresy and the doctrine of reincarnation was officially banished by the Christian Church. It was banished for no other reason than it was considered to be too much of an influence from the East.
People find it difficult even today to agree that Christianity shares so much with Hinduism.
Yes, what Lord Jesus attempted to teach them was revolutionary, if you like.
Lord Jesus was correct in every way. He made the ultimate sacrifice that the people may believe in his teachings. Lord Jesus also knew that he would return to God. (Lord Jesus is still known as The Son of God).
Interesting discussion?

At the end of the day, yes Jesus stirred up the people against the government and the Jewish religious leadership. Yes, they had the legal right to punish ( up to and including kill ) him. And since it was God's plan and He allowed it, that is what happened.

Jesus was what we could call now a communist. But he wasn't one, because there was no such thing as communism in those times. And yes, apparently, he was a revolutionary.
But nobody has the right to kill anybody for any reason.

he was certainly treated as a rebel, if he came today in britain i think they would bring back hanging just for him. the problem was not his own, the problem was the jews did not recognise
him the romans had nowt against him, he must have beleived in free enterprise because he was a joiner working for his dad. and his mates were fisherman, he was actualy a walking brainwave, he gave the individual the ability to overpower the great roman empire without lifting the sword. for me personaly He has allowed me not to be brainwashed by the second Roman empire the E.U.
all my thoughts are independant of theres. Judas was meant to be, Jesus had to be falsely accused, he had to be slaughtered like a lamb, in order to pay mine yours and everybody elses debt.
If I baught a car off you on the weekly for 25 quid a week, paid you for five weeks, lost my job then stopped paying. you take me to court, in court you are appealing for justic and I am apealing for mercy, if you get your justic I dont get my mercy. If I get my mercy you dont get your justic. the only way out that sutes us both would be a third party intervention on my behalf if the third party says to me I will pay your bill, and you will pay me, it will be hard but you will be able to manage. The wages of sinn is death. theat bill has to be paid to save us poor mortals requires a third party intervention the bill cant be paid by the tories, or the chritians or the muslims or any outher human individual or group. it had to be a sinnless perfect individual who was brave enough to carry the can, and it was him. the next time he comes he wont be on a donky he will be at the head of a massive invasion force. the first people he will speak to will be the jews, according to prophesy a jew will say to him where did you get those wounds in your body, and he will say i got these in the house of friends, and the jews of the world shall weep. by the way we have to repay the debt by being like him brave enough to stand our ground,

i think thinking of ppl are very restricted that's how things are happening in wrong direction for centuries. first of all he is not killed he will be back in future. second is do u know what was his teachings or what was his message. if u still stick with your point of view. then each and every revolution in history was wrong. doesnt matter its wrong or right. this is same true for now a days. when there is no any difference b.w terorist and freedom struggles. whenever some ppl are against their will they started to call them terrorist.

Higher souls do not follow blindly...they question the existing faith and find the new Truth..this is what Jesus did!!
Had jesus submitted to rotten crap, We would have missed a Great prophet
Had Buddha submitted to ritualistic hinduism, we would have missed a Great personality!!
Let us not hate those who question.....at least they are not part of the herd
