Get on the treadmill for at least a 1/2 hour 4 times a week, do body weight workouts such as push ups, pull ups, squats, crunches, dips, etc. Cut your calorie intake to about 1250 calories a day, low fat & carbs. Drink at least 2 liters of water a day. No alcohol or soda. No eating after 7 pm. That should do the trick.

To lose weight, a person has to reduce the calorie intake by some amount by modifying their diet. A diet without sufficient nutrients will only increase the appetite of the person trying to lose weight. Since most people combine a diet with an exercise plan, additional nutrients are required for the growth of muscles required to increase the metabolic rate required for long term weight loss.
