Okay, are you guys still together? It sounds like you are. If not there is no quick way to get over someone you love. There are ways to deal with it one day at a time . Just learn from the reasons you say you guys will not last long if you marry. That will help you get some closure.

I think you already know the answer Salinna, the fact that you've asked the question in the first place says it all.
I had a six year -relationship with my ex-boyfriend, and yes, it was hard to get over him, but in the end I knew it was the right thing to do, and now I'm better for it. It will be hard, but it's something we all go through -you are not alone! You will look back, hopefully without regrets, but also with the knowledge that ending the relationship was the right thing to do.
Best wishes xx

Well, if you have made a firm decision to break up - look at all the good reasons to do so, and keep reminding yourself that this is all for the better. There's no real method, I usually just try to keep busy, and stay in especially close touch with my friends.

Sweety, that is the reason people stay together when they know they shouldn't......familiarity......just let go. You have to let go of the familiar and not be afraid to move forward.......its easiest to completely cut the ties. The next relationship will be better, what ever mistakes you might have made, learn from them. If there are things about someone that is not acceptable, don't even go there.

The sooner you break up the easier. Just know that it will be weird for about one or two months, but then you can both go on with your lives and you will be open to meet the guy you'll be totally excited about. Don't waste your preciuos youth and your optimal time to meet your future soul mate by hanging on to nothing.

IF YOUR HEART IF BROKEN THE NEST MEDICINE IS COMEDY...GO TO A COMEDY CLUB, SEE A COMEDIAN, WATCH A BUNCH OF FUNNY MOVIES...THINK ABOUT HOW MUCH BETTER YOU ARE WITHOUT THEM, BECAUSE THERE IS A REASON YOUR NOT TOGETHER!

You don't. The only thing that will heal the pain of a breakup is time. There's no magic pill or method.

Break-ups suck.
You need to keep yourself busy... Work, friends, organizations, etc. Do something productive with your time and don't just cry and pine over him.
And vent. Tell your friends you are upset and ask for them to be there for you.
You'll get though it. It's tough at first though.
