Ok.. well, im going out with this girl ive been seeing a few times... keep in mind that im not the kind of guy who forces a move, infact i usually prefer the woman to start with a little somthing then take it from there.. But with this girl i need to start everything every time... She holds back from what she feels alot, because i know the way she really feels (shes told me).. I dont understand why she just hasnt jumped rite at me, she wants me to make the first move.. Well, im at the point where next time i see her im going to... why is it that some girls seem to do this? like hold back.. If you wanted somone to kiss you, makeout or whatever, why hold back? Is it more fun to be surprised by the guy? i dont get it , seems a bit odd.. ? maybe its only her?

So far your answers somewhat confirmed what i felt deep down that she just didnt want to force it.. i have told her how i feel so its no surprise.. but yes she must still have her guard up a little bit... so far great answers thanks !

I can be the same way. Emotionally I hold back because of trust issues. Physically, well, I don't really hold back much. But I can see where she is coming from. I think it could be that she is unsure on how YOU feel. You said that she has told you how SHE feels, did you do the same? because if you didn't - that could be where she is unsure.
...or she could just not want to come across as too easy.

Well she might not want you to think she easy or slutty or anything like that. You should just talk to her and say something along the lines of "If you want to kiss me dont be afraid to make the first move....cuz i like you and i think it is kinda kool when girls make a point of getting what they want.." or something like that. If she starts holding back when you start kissing her then somethings wrong and she isn't ready for physical touch yet and you should figure out what is wrong. Also there is always the chance that she might not want to see you........ Good Luck!!

Dude! Be a leader. Why are you waiting for her to make the first move? Girls are not into that, and if a girl does make the first move she probably thinks you are kinda soft for not making the move or she thinks you don't like her. That is our job!

You are not the kinda guy that forces a move? What you don't hit her with a club and drag her into your cave? Good for you.
If you know there is attraction, don't wait for permission to make a move, just do it!

Some females are just like this. i am one of them. I am married for the second time, and am 32 years old. The truth is, my husband now is the only man that i have ever made the first move with. It took awhile, but he made me feel comfortable enough with my sexuality to be more aggressive. Give her time and patience. She is just not confident with herself yet.

girls hate rejection as much as a guy does and if we make a move and we're rejected.. it's.. well..horrible for us.. i'm similar to your girlfriend in that i expect the guy to make the first move
surprises are fun and sometimes we feel like if the guy isn't willing to make the first move that he's only with us so that he can say that he has a girlfriend.
