.I think they should do that for people on good behavior only, not just anybody should have that privilege. It would make more of our communities look better and free up alot of the city/county workers for more important things, like road repair and other improvements.

no, honest people need jobs, people that choose to committ crimes need to be punished. jails are SUPPOSED to be tough that's the risk you take when you make the choice to rob, steal, kill, rape, etc. what we need are more prisoners in states like Alaska, Idaho, North Dakota, where they have millions of empty space and the winters are colder then your girlfriend after you forget her birthday.
