Does anyone know how I could go about raising money for our daughter's surgery in about two weeks? We need to raise money for our hotel, food, gas, car repairs to get there and other expenses. I am running out of time and I do not know what to do.

Do you have acess to a social worker through the hospital, they should be able to help with ideas. My family stayed at Ronald Mac house for 5 and a half months while my daughter had her chemo, it didnt cost us anything. You could try and contact an organisation that is related to your childs illness, they maybe able to help. Its a hard time when a child is sick, we nearly lost our cars and house during my daughters leukaemia because my partner and I couldnt work, but we got through it (and kept our house and cars) the most important thing is she is alive. Good luck to your family.

Local VFWs, Eagles and Moose organizations generally will help with a cash donation. Well they will get you gas cards, hotel room, etc. giving cash isn't always safe, I'm sure you understand that. Or they will hold a fundraiser. The Eagles I'm affiliated with does all day events, they have games, bake sale, jail a friend, food, auctions, etc. There are also places that will give pay back loans with low or no interest. Call the red cross or your local news station or Family Independence Agency they will give you more info than you will ever need. (Went through same ordeal with my daughter). Good luck!

properly here, human beings do "rifas" that's to sale ticketcs to win stuff, as an occasion an ipod nano , you may sale lotsss of tickets for 5 funds. and them on the top once you get anought funds you in basic terms %. a cost tag in a polland the guy with that variety wins. for this reason, in case you sale one hundred tickets you would be making 500 greenback minus one hundred(value of the ipod) which this is going to likely be 4 hundred. you additionally can do it with an airconditioner or something that human beings extremely opt to have, like a advantageous cellular telephone and ofcourse point out why you're doing it and human beings will maximum in all threat purchase the tickets. or basically discuss with a T.V station, like in "primer impacto" they do this alot, like they make a record of that and on the top of it , they tell human beings if the y opt to help to call such variety etc. it works, sturdy success.

Be prepared for a lot of skepticism. Many people have tried something like this, and I'm not saying you are a scammer, but there is so much deceit now with similar stories. Just be prepared for it, and good luck.

Why don't you contact the Ronald McDonald House? They provide places for parents to stay near hospitals when children are having surgery.
