when put in brackets ()?

It (The mountain) IS Above The SEA.
It (The phone) IS connected with Black Wires.

Just by saying "IT" it refers to ANYthing you can imagine or can ever ask for...?

Pronouns like "it" always refer to something outside of the clause containing the pronoun. However, in a real-world sense, "it" doesn't always refer to ANYTHING, because you always use it in a larger context where you are already talking about something. It refers to whatever you are talking about in the context.
