Can I use publisher 2003 to write my book of poetry?

You could, but Publisher is more geared towards business cards, invitations, flyers, brochures, etc.

I found a wonderful site that you can publish your own work at, in a nice book, too - http://www.lulu.com/. That probably be your best bet, and it's affordable.

Yup and it makes it pretty too. You could use Word but Publisher makes it look more professional and elegant i use Publisher for printing pretty much everything now.

You can type a poem in word then import it into publisher the wizard does most of the work for you too.
