I don't think that they expire, just stale if air gets to it. Isn't it easier to just buy another rice krispy treat?

According to the Kellogg's® Rice Krispies website, it says to store the treats for no more than two days in an airtight container.

Besides, who can keep rice krispie treats around longer than that?? However, a stale rice krispie treat is better than no rice krispie treat at all! :o)

Actually, the best way of sealing a rice krispie treat is as in 'my lips are sealed!' Yum! Why put it on a shelf in a sealed bag? :)

Not very long -- maybe a few days. After that it'll be hard as a rock. Even if you could vacuum-seal it in a bag it won't last that long. The ones they sell in the stores have preservatives in them to keep them fresh longer...
